|
Alicia Keys was born in 1981, and despite her young age she has already risen to the top of the music industry. By the end of 2007, Keys had sold more than 35 million records. When compared to other musical performers, it is easy to see that Keys has achieved a very high level of [...]

Taylor Swift Still Isn’t Relinquishing the Charts
|
The talented Miss Swift isn’t budging from her solid perches at the top of Billboard’s country albums and songs charts, where she sits with Taylor Swift and
“Our Song,” respectively. To make life even sweeter, Swift also has this week’s highest vaulting new single, “Picture to Burn,” which bows at No. 52. The only other first-time songs [...]

Dean Owens - Whisky Hearts
|
In many ways, Dean Owens’s third solo album is very old fashioned. That isn’t meant as a criticism - musically it references huge slabs of Springsteen (especially the opener, Years Ago, one of those slyly political songs with its ripe rip of sax, and the gloriously uplifting Hallelujah) and in its more relaxed moments the [...]

Tom Baxter - Skybound
|
It’s been three years since we heard anything from Tom Baxter. His 2004 release Feather and Stone, especially its opening track My Declaration, was a Radio Two favourite, but since then, not a sausage. Now comes Skybound, an autobiographical album, which shows off his angelic, dreamy voice with an eclectic mix of sounds and styles.A [...]

The Magnetic Fields - Distortion (Nonesuch)
|
It’s four years since the last The Magnetic Fields album, i, but Stephin Merritt has hardly been idle. Yet where 69 Love Songs showed a remarkable profligacy of songwriting, and Showtunes elicited his love of Chinese music, Distortion is a conscious step back - not just looking over its shoulder, but swiveling round for a [...]

Fogerty’s Creative Revival
|
John Fogerty’s newest, Revival, is easily his best record since Centerfield, and has some of his best material since the CCR days. Songs like Gunslinger, Creedence Song, and Long Dark Night hold their own against Creedence’s best stuff.
The album starts off with Don’t You Wish It Was True, with a beat that is similar to [...]

Album: I dont care

... captain) and Stewart did most of the talking. Fact is no amount of talking will make any of them better players, we have a team of very average players who have no respect for management or the owner or for that matter team mates, they just dont care ... They dont compete with 360 or PS3. There are alot of people who buy a 360 or PS3 and still buy a wii. Wii has a much larger customer base and saying they have a larger market share than PS3 or xbox 360 is inaccurate because these consoles have such ... All of you people are hippocrites. (dont care if it's spelled wrong) Any time an environmentalist group does something good, you people trash them on here. Talking about "tree-huggers" and preaching to us about how coal "keeps the lights on." Now ... Now I am not a smoker, i dont care for smoking at all, and i wish they would just make it illegal period to smoke, but if they do that, they might as well ad drinking alcohol to the list. Drunk drivers leaving a bar are a big problem also. I kina ... i think the law should only apply to repeat offenders. i dont care what anyone says but when people hear the word sex offender they automatically think “child molester” and thats just dumb and ignorant.i know someone who went to prison for 3 yrs ... He is such a warrior and a hard nut to crack though, and we dont know what contribution he makes behind the scenes, so dropping him could have a serious negative effect on the team. (like when the Boks dropped Andre Venter for Bob Skinstad in 1998 ... I'm convinced Carty writes these garbage pieces to boost his ego; 100+ posts on his last article (which is essentially the same as this article) probably make him feel like people actually care what he' saying. For someone who wants RR to behave like ... At the end of the day it is about controlling peoples behaviour and their education in this respect, not affordability. Education is I believe the key but with so many people leaving school poorly educated, and who had parents who just dont care, how ... suburbanites have proven time and time again they refuse to come into the city for much of anything, i dont care what you put there " Actually, this is not true. For example, lots of burbanites come to the ArtWalk area. http://www.rochesterartwalk ... ... come to australia ,leave your hatred at the airport .we dont get the crap with aussie rules footy that we get with soccer ,we get rivalry but not the violence . Ihope baghdatus wins even over our own womens weekly photo opertunity seeking dont care ...
